Pros
- Very structured organization. - HR policies allow for movement within the company.
Cons
- Managers can veto HR policies, withholding employees from movement within the company. - Values external hires into executive positions rather than promoting from within. - Layoff employees to meet financial numbers, then hire back profusely hoping to rescue projects. All the while remaining staff is expected to pick up the slack. - No team culture, everyone is just there to do a job.
