      not allowed to transfer to a job horizontally, only vertical promotions. the company likes to give extra work to people to mold them to be managers, but there are very few opportunities

      You are never bored due to constant work

      Cons

      Lab is run horribly. Sample Management never sees promotions. Starting salary is good and then you’re trapped in quicksand. I was graded as the highest possible rating for my merit increase and got a $0.26 hourly increase. The company doesn’t care about everyone working on the back end of studies.
