Pros

Many of my fellow employees re highly educated, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in cooking. I have enjoyed meeting and sharing my skills with members of the community who share my interest.

Cons

It is first and foremost a retail establishment, which does not align with my values. The experience hinges upon my attitude and the attitudes of the people I come in contact with.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
