Pros

Fun environment if cooking is your thing

Cons

Unorganized with extremely unclear expectations. Sales per employee are "watched" causing unnecessary competition and tension between coworkers. There are no "cashiers" making customers feel unattended to is there is any traffic in the store. Floor leads are on the same levels but scheduled at the same time to manage one another, again, adding tension and giving others the idea that they are superior to others. There is really no training. Training comes in the form of online workshops and laminated pamphlets that you are expected to learn on your own time. Managers/keyholders that work full time are severely underpaid full-time employment status is impossible.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
