Pros

The team I worked with was great. Everyone was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand when necessary. The employee discount of 40% was also quite nice.

Cons

The scheduling was in constant flux and dwindled down to nothing after the holidays. There was an expectation of full-time availability with only part-time hours. Also, the hourly wage was much lower than that of competitors just down the street.

- Very fun work - Get to work with professional chefs - You will actually learn more about cooking in this position than you will taking the classes - Employee discounts

Cons

- Low pay with no opportunity for advancement, not a career path - Sometimes kitchen is understaffed, putting a lot of pressure on you
