Pros

The team I worked with were all nice, dedicated and very new.

Cons

There was no push to complete onboarding training of even basic tasks. Perhaps because they laid off anyone who knew how to train. Once I started training coworkers out of necessity, but now all of those coworkers and myself have been laid off. So much for being "essential". Management had very poor strategy when COVID19 hit. They decided to lay off all of their temporary workers AND more than 1/3 of their salaried people and they aren't done yet. When I was hired I was promised lots of growth and opportunities to lead my own team. All of that evaporated and then some within a year. Their management couldn't even see their way to pivot into a similar way to fill a need - like providing hand sanitizer to the local or national market.

Pros

The company was ok to work for. The temps are hired through a Staffing Agency. The coworkers in the Warehouse all do their job to the best of their abilities. Typical Day would be to go to the line and unbox product, pack, sticker, and palletize a pallet. The cafeteria is nice and looks new. The whole building is clean and since it is a company that works with medical devices there are a lot of sanitizing areas.

Cons

Warehouse workers are in constant movement and it gets fast paced on the line. Warehouse equipment sometimes does not work and sometimes the workers can't keep up with the pace. Workers are tired because the only breaks that they get are the scheduled ones.
