Pros

This company has good pay and great benefits.

Cons

No work life balance, hasn't staffed IT staff in the plants sufficient to support production 24/7, many IT staff are working 7 days a week and 10 or 12 hour days. The good pay comes at a cost to your family life. some sites are expected to support the plant on 24 hours x 7 with only 4 people. No reviews of salaries annually, some employees have not receive pay raises in over 6 years. Convoluted Performance Review process. Calibration meetings are held by managers for performance reviews where they use a bell curve to rate people and someone has to be low. Always finding faults behaviorally that are so minuscule. If you want to move up in the company don't take an IT job in the plant, you will never be allowed to interview for corporate positions.

Pros

This is a company where you can learn a lot if you are willing to take initiative. There are many talented people you can connect with who are willing to help you improve and do your job better. I also believe there is a real opportunity to regain stability and grow professionally.

Cons

There are still some organizational challenges, including unclear ownership in certain areas and a high level of uncertainty. The onboarding process could also be improved, as it mainly focuses on general company benefits and HR information, rather than providing role-specific training or guidance for the actual job responsibilities.
