Pros

-Reasonably good room for career growth - good exposure to big, high-budget projects - standard benefits package, nothing amazing but pretty normal

Cons

- toxic upper management - staff are blamed for things not in their control - junior staff are treated poorly, overworked and underpaid - very corporate. They pretend to care about the health, well being, and work-life balance of their employees but ask employees to work insanely long hours and overtime. - they threatened to fire me on numerous occasions when I stood up for myself and my legal rights - high turnover rate. - performance reviews, in my experience, were very unpleasant. They included humiliation, belittling, intimidation, and threats of termination. - when there is no work to do (during slow times) they have asked me to use my vacation/sick time - non-cooperative team environment. Its more like "every man for themselves" creating a feeling of competition and hostility - emphasis on perfection. I was criticized for even the smallest of mistakes, some were not even my fault.

Pros

You will be working with great minds. People have their niches expertise and it’s wonderful to learn from them. Very professional and respectful behavior. Doesn’t feel like other consulting firms where you’re worked like a dog.

Cons

Sometimes it’s hard to build consistent work because people tend to hold on to their projects rather than transferring to junior staff and it’s mainly because the pressure to be billable is high.
