There always seemed to be barriers between management and employee. Most information received from the management has been "polished" before announced to the employees. Was surprised to hear from an end annual review meeting by a corporate senior management talk: "our next year goal is to keep 95% of leadership team". Then in the early coming year there were about 1/3 local workforce got laid off (non of them were managers); among them included a going- to-be parent who was one of the best performers in the office. So does that mean beside the leadership team, the rest are just as a "number" or "tool" in the company point of view?
