Pros
Decent starting pay. Healthy food to buy at lunch. Benefits are offered. The new employees are welcomed and have an upbeat attitude. 10% employee discount.
Cons
Although you may be hired as "Full-Time" your hours will suffer greatly if you ever call in plus management is definitely told to make sure you don't have that 32-hour average so as not to pay the full health insurance premium. Plus, your starting hours maybe 35-40, but then they hire new associates and cut everyone's hours in the process to 25-30. Also, the starting pay is decent but raises are only given after your 6-month review and only 2 employees in our store were given $.50/hr raise. Only the store manager will perform your review with zero input from your supervisors thereby assuring low marks. Performance rating system completely illogical and unfair to all. The President of Sprouts touts a 96% turnover rate and is actually surprised that there may still be an original employee (from when store opened) working there.
