Over the course of COVID our mangers have abandoned us. They work an average of 1.5-2 weeks per month bc they were always out bc they "thought" they had been exposed. Rather than opting to get 2 negative tests and return within the week, they waited out a 2 week quarantine. When the holidays rolled around, for the month of Nov./Dec. they announced they'd be gone every weds/thurs/fri for those months bc they had so much vacation time. And then the weeks before and after Christmas. Lowly service workers had to blow through our PTO and go unpaid, while salaried managers never turned in PTO to cover their hours while out for symptoms. We were abandoned scrambling to provide holiday service to senior citizens during COVID. Without any leadership. Also, food makes our residents ill with gastrointestinal issues, many don't eat.
