Pros
Location, work-life balance, nice colleagues (if you are lucky)
Cons
To my fellow Singaporeans, I urge you to think twice before joining this company. The company has strong Chinese culture, and you may feel like a minority even in your own country. While it may be a good option for those looking for a retirement plan, it's not a company to consider if you want to climb the corporate ladder. There is no career progression, and promotions are typically reserved for their "own people," regardless of your performance. Additionally, bonuses are determined by people from HQ whom you don't work with, and you may never understand how your grade was determined or what you can do to improve it. Moreover, if you have a micromanaging manager, the work environment can be suffocating, and you may not have any say in the work you do. You may find yourself doing only administrative work with limited opportunities to learn and grow. It's crucial not to be deceived by what you see on job websites. Proceed with caution when considering this company.
