Pros

It's a huge company and unlikely to go bankrupt any time soon. It's almost impossible to get fired here unless you commit murder.

Cons

Almost impossible to get a promotion or change jobs internally no matter how highly you're rated. Raises are pathetically low, so if you come to work here, negotiate as high a starting salary as you can. You'll have to follow everything Germany dictates, no matter how much it might make sense or save money to do otherwise. The 401(k) plan is horrible (Aon Hewitt) - very few funds, all proprietary, not publicly traded so you can't track them, no index funds! Paternalistic management style. They nickel and dime their employees - example: while traveling, you may only spend $10 on breakfast, $15 on lunch, and $25 on dinner, AND it's not a per diem! No matter where you go! So unless you eat out of vending machines, you're going to have to kick in some of your own money so you don't starve to death. I literally had a higher dollar limit for meals over 20 years ago!! OK, I'll stop now.

A lot of nice and helpful people as well as good mentors that care about your success and solid pay.

Cons

No major cons, things will vary depending on the team you’re on though.

Pros

Competitive pay, flex vacation/ PTO

Cons

Organizational restructuring seems more frequent than other companies I’ve worked for. Constant changes in processes. In four years I’ve seen change in incentive plan twice and not for the better even though they’ll tell you it is. You can make great money in sales still. Corporate alignment of rollouts of product timeline v. actual reality in the area level.
