Pros

-Branding -Renumeration -Safety practices part of HSSE -Facility and set-up

Cons

-IT leadership are unaware on how to lead delivery -Biased approach to Indians -Discriminating Indians as slave force -Unrealistic work culture when it comes to Indians -Be prepared to take midnight calls and loose your sleep. Mandatory US work timings since 70% of most projects are delivered from USA -No long term international assignments(loose your sleep and deliver from India) -Huge projects have pressurized work environment -No work-life Balance -Not the pay master as assumed, attrition rate points its finger -HR policies are HR friendly, made by HR's for HR's -Pay structure offers No tax benefits to employees -Policies and practices are now localized by Indian Managers and HR's hence global best practices are no more practiced in Shell India markets private Ltd The list goes on, as 2.5 years in this organization has brought to light how the organisation now works. Be prepared to see discrimination by peers outside India. It started well and all is not going well hence Attrition has increased.

Pros

There are many diverse roles and opportunities within the company, which can make it easier to explore different career paths and avoid feeling stuck or bored.

Cons

Company lacks clear direction and has significant internal disorganization. Employees are often expected to take on multiple roles without appropriate compensation or support. Despite consistently being a high performer, I left feeling undervalued — after covering two roles, there wasn’t even a simple thank you upon departure. To make matters worse, eight months after leaving, they are now claiming I owe over $5,000 in PTO that had previously been considered settled at the time of my exit. Overall, the experience left a very negative impression and highlighted serious internal process issues.
