If you are used to getting big commission checks, building your own projects or quoting reasonably priced security equipment, then you are working for another company. Secuirtas has none of that whatsoever.
Cons
Remember the kid table at thanksgiving? Working for securitas is being permanently stuck at the kid table. Even if you have 20+ years of experience building large complex security systems, you will not have that ability at Securitas. The second a project hits a certain dollar amount, or certain amount of labor hours - the company forces the sales rep to have someone else "handle" it. The second that happens the commission gets cut in half. So basically the company takes half of the expected commission away on large projects by forcing the sales rep to use mandatory help - even if no additional equipment or specialized pricing is needed. The commission rate is halved on big projects. Its downright criminal and I'm surprised nobody has taken legal action. If you are good at electronic security sales and have any talent whatsoever - you will find very quickly that the employees left at Securitas are the bottom of the barrel - all the top talent walked away to the competition.
