Merger went wrong - Anonymous employee Santander Employee Review

Santander bank (which in Spain is a great company) merged with Sovereign bank and it was a disaster. Management is very unprofessional and truly don't care about their customers (branch level). I can't speak for the Santander management but old Sovereign employees were not well trained and carried it over during the merger. Also they totally lied about compensation and role responsibilities.
