Pros

Pay was competitive, quite flexible with remote working.

Cons

Find the biggest stone you can find throw it at the wall and see if that wall goes "ouch" is good summary of sanctuary, it's culture and the management. This is a company that has countless restructuring regimes, throws away staff like paper plates but will spend hundreds of millions of pounds on a computer system that doesn't work, and then forces the remaining staff to work it, then gets cross with them when it doesn't. This bi-polar authoritarianism is what will finally grind things to an end. Directors here just can't stop messing with things until there's nothing left for them to mess with. I m trying to see if deep down i find it funny, perhaps even ironic. But I don’t… I just don’t see the irony. I only see hatred – pure undiluted hatred buzzing through my body which is so unhealthy in a work environment and mentally not good. You feel like a helpless automaton in a faceless world of clueless bureaucrats who are counting the spoils of their last successful campaign (£££) to fob off the public with some social input. the kind of input that is un-hampered by the anchor that is required in this business...satisfaction and quality. I just think the mere words strike fear into the heart of every lazy pig in every stinking faeces-infested office that resides under the crust that is sanctuary. Careers are built on power. There is a ever going power struggle at the top, directors chasing their careers..power is based on ownership and ownership is the art of manipulation. Jobs for the boys. Back scratching. What a filthy business this really is. The idea of pride and satisfaction undermines this power at the very core. There looks like there will be some kind of a future, though not one I want any part of. I don’t want to be part of a world where the term ‘quality’ has ceased to apply. I just dont get the sanctuary thing that some seem to - i just cant accept its an attractive offer... I don’t like the taste of brown stuff, I can’t roll over and have my belly stroked, and I won’t be someone’s clown… unless that someone is me. If you are selfish, chasing the pound and have no care about the quality of the work you or your company do, then great, pull of a pew, your in good company at sanctuary.
