Pros
With the new policies they have implemented there is really nothing good about it. Yes they give you samples but nothing you cant buy yourself.
Cons
There is absolutely NO SUPPORT. The DMs dont like to be bothered, they encourage everyone to find there own answers. Inventories come and go and no sighting of a DM and when the numbers come back off managers are quick to get blamed. The only time we hear from a DM is during the weekly conference call. If anything needs to be addressed they do it there in front of everyone. Alot of the times when the DMs come into the stores they sit and talk on the phone to other DMs ALL DAY talking about how much work they have and how they cant stand it. Talk about other peers and do absolutely NOTHING with the manager they went to visit. Walk thru if the store is a thing of the past. They no longer do that...all brand standards come in thru a ipad. Managers have more work and not enough pay nor help cause alot of the stores are not allowed to hire anyone to work more the 12 hrs. Not to mention when you manage for Sally Beauty YOU DONT HAVE A LIFE. Your kids and husband become non existent. The schedules are not flexible AT ALL. Your working all weekend long only allowed 1 weekend off a month if that. I worked for Sally's for 6 years was manager of the year a few times and I am pleased to say I WILL NEVER WORK for sally beauty again. I will not post the reason for my departure but I will say this...they made sure to make me feel like I was nothing but a number after 6 years and all the money I made this company. There stuck with crappy employees, crappy management and DMs that make sure if john goss is coming to town yall best shut up smile and dont say anything that would get anyone in trouble. In other words dont say the truth.
