Pros
Worked for the same store location since 2016 and we became a little family, which is something hard to come by (though, I know this will be different depending on your manager and team), very thoughtful and caring manager, flexible with scheduling. We have had two DMs (district managers) during my time employed, both have fought for the stores/employees in our district. Sally's is very inclusive and actively strives to make the work environment accommodating and comfortable for everybody.
Cons
Very little store hours: only managers (and ASMs, if you're even able to have one at your location) get 40+ hours a week. Over my tenure of working for the company, I've seen corporate do some questionable things / make questionable decisions that affect us at the store-level. By this, I mean KPIs/weekly goals/monthly goals have changed often, and those who changed it often have never worked in a store environment, making us little-guys have to be like "hey, this isn't working and you're trying to punish us for it..." To elaborate, a lot of the time, it seems the company ONLY cares about numbers. Benefits are not the best, for full or part time, and hourly pay isn't great, but it is better than some other places.
