      Pros

      Work life balance has always been the biggest pro. You will still work hard and >40 hrs/wk, but you will not get any pushback if you have to flex that time to pick up your kids, go to a medical appointment, or just go for a walk.

      Cons

      Compensation lags the market, slow career advancement and promotions can take years. Change-resistant culture and new ideas move slowly. Leadership team manages up to just one person.
