      Pros

      Great people, friendly atmosphere, fantastic location. Great place to work for settling down and also kickstarting a career in business analytics or other. Interns were kept busy and well looked after, not shunned and given menial tasks.

      Cons

      Would have been good to travel to customer sites. Some interns got to do this but not all, would be great to see SAS at work in industry. Some interns had travel and accommodation paid for, some had no benefits, seemed unfair.

      Pros

      Benefits: health coverage, on-site gym, childcare, healthcare center, and more. Work-life balance: predictable hours, flexibility for parents and a culture that doesn't expect you to grind 60-hour weeks.

      Cons

      Compensation lags the market, slow career advancement and promotions can take years. Change-resistant culture and new ideas move slowly. Leadership team manages up to just one person.
