Pros

Good hours and benefits.

Cons

They love knowledge. If you have the knowledge, you will move up in the company. But management also has zero "soft skills" and is difficult to deal with in all departments across the board. The organization is very "top very" with the mid-level and entry level people making far less.

Pros

The mission is meaningful and the benefits package is cool

Cons

Work-life balance is poor. The workload and expectations feel consistently high, and coverage isn’t reliable, when things get busy, support can be inconsistent. The biggest issue is fairness: there’s a noticeable pay gap even within the same team for comparable work, and it’s hard not to feel discouraged when people doing the same job are compensated very differently. It also doesn’t feel like a true team. Accountability is uneven, and when some employees disengage or avoid work, the same few people end up carrying the load to keep everything running. Leadership responsiveness can be inconsistent, and representation and inclusion efforts don’t always feel reflected in decision-making.
