Pros
The pay is decent, and the benefits are alright. There's also a 35-hour workweek.
Cons
This is not the place to go if you're looking to advance through the ranks and achieve a position of leadership. There are lots of dinosaurs who have been working here for over 10 years. The entire place is run by attorneys which I suppose is expected since this is a labor union. I have no idea what on Earth some of the reviewers here are thinking when they talk about the "culture." There is ZERO culture. It's just a collection of various cliques. There are no organization-wide values or goals. Mentorship is non-existent. Being trained on new concepts is a process wrought with frustration and a lack of organization. The work is downright uninteresting. If you're a recent law school graduate looking to get some experience, this place would make a good stepping stone to a better job.
