Pros

Rush is a growth company in a niche market well positioned for stability and growth. Pay is solid.

Cons

Way too lean. For a $5 billion yet only around 7k employees, causes extreme stress and hardships and burnout. Now the worst part. The company executives protect themselves while forcing accountability to lower level managers and employees. There is a culture of management by shaming. Extreme pressure and ridiculous expectations where people will either fail or burnout. Loyalty is expected rather than doing the right thing. That even includes support departments that don’t drive revenue or sales such as Human Resources, IT and even Ethics and Compliance where leadership has had numerous complaints. Reports are endless and many times inaccurate and always confusing. Accountability does not happen if you are loyal, drive sales, save money.

Given that you reference the culture as being unethical, I would ask that you contact the company directly regarding your concerns. Contact our general number and asked to be routed to the VP of Human Resources.

Pros

The company has been in business over 60 years. The company has multiple locations in the United States.

Cons

Lack of support and communication from different levels and different departments of management on what is expected. The lack of prioritizing or being able to reach management for direction makes things inefficient. Having many people leave in droves is indicator.
