Pros

Generally fair pay for what is required. Good benefits! Stand by cruises for employees! In my experience, most of my co-workers were very nice, hard-working people.

Cons

The thing to remember when seeking employment there is that you will be tethered to a phone in front of a computer taking call after call all day long and are expected to adhere strictly to your schedule. Believe it or not, every minute is measured and affects your ranking. The lowest ranking employees get the worst schedules, such as working closing shifts and weekends. You will hear about it if you are not in compliance even by a minute! You can be fired for being out of compliance too often. So you literally have to walk around with a timer on you. I worked there 13 years and for most of that time, supervisors often did not know how to do their jobs effectively or even how to motivate their team without being negative or threatening. Most of them had been away from being on the phone for so long they could not remember the pressures or demands of the job, so could not adequately lead or even assist their team members. It wasn't until recently that management started to retrain and evaluate supervisors to make them more effective.

Pros

Pay is competitive. You get a free cruise.

Cons

The culture here was ok, though not the best. Now with a VERY strict 9-5 policy, the entire company is feeling the grip of the execs. No exceptions for anyone who has a doctors appointment or needs to pick up a kid or adjust their hours slightly to get through life. Many employees have to work extra hours, travel across the world, and work based on other time zones due to projects spanning across the world. No matter, 9-5 or pack your things. Execs are demanding more control, they seem to forget that they placed their office all the way in the traffic zoo of the Port of Miami. No one is happy and now you can hardly get out of the port at a decent time. Would have loved to see some execs and vps fight against this but it seems they only care about protecting themselves, and Mr Liberty is having his way. I hope he enjoys this act of control as it is making his employees miserable. Expect high turn over soon or layoffs, or both. Many of the small benefits have been rolled back without any announcement (food discounts, commuter discounts) without any notice. We have lost the plot, we are selling vacations, not saving lives.
