Pros

There are lots of possibilities to move up and there's always an opportunity for travel.

Cons

Where do I start? Benefits are not up to par with most other engineering companies. The work environment feels very strict and rigid. 40 hour weeks are mandatory with no chance for OT unless it's mandatory then you'll be doing 60 or 70 hour weeks. Unless you're willing to travel or become management, there's no upward mobility. Terrible training program, lousy benefits, work environment is not conducive to happy employees and raises are small if at all. That said, it's fine for your first job out of college so that you can get your foot in the door.

Thanks for sharing, sounds like you’ve had some great people around you – that kind of support makes a huge difference. It’s also encouraging to hear the company direction is coming through as a positive. Location is a personal factor, and we appreciate you sharing that as part of your overall experience.
