Business Outlook
Pros
The pay is reasonable (stateside, I can't speak for the UK) and if you're personable you will likely rise to the top of your skill level. Generally the company takes good care of its employees and, for the most part, operates with a low stress work place environment.
Cons
I can only speak for the engineering side of the business, but the upward mobility is incredibly limited (and rightly so) by experience. Without a large base of technical knowledge there are very few avenues for advancement. No matter how good you are at your job, you will have to just keep your nose to the grindstone for 5+ years without appreciable advancement.
