Negatives outweigh the positives at RHI. - Staffing Manager Robert Half Employee Review

Pros

After your ramp-up/training period you can make a good amount of money with RHI. Most people are nice to work with as well. The training is very detailed and helpful for the business world in general. It just takes a very specific type of person to work here (someone who enjoys inside sales, works long hours, & doen't need privacy).

Cons

The downsides can really outweigh the good at this company. RHI micromanages more than any place I have seen or heard. You have absolutely no privacy with the way the workspaces are set up. This job is not for those interested in "outside sales," because you are in the office about 85% of the time, 15% at appointments......no home office or other setting of your own schedule. Word of advice: If you decide to work here, stay far away from the temp-staffing side and go for permanent placement staffing. Working with temps and temp placement is a nightmare! One other thing is other employees/managers with no life on the outside world make you feel guilty if you leave to go home at the end of the day before 6PM.

Pros

Success with other departments - just not in mine

Cons

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
