Randstad has a good portfolio of client companies to which it can market and place its employees. These are companies such as Google and the like.
Cons
I'm certain the experience differs from assignment to assignment. On this particular assignment, Randstad's management appeared to be the problem. They are in complete disarray. Their practices are not only unfair, but could very easily be deemed illegal at times. For example, they issue written punishments to one employee for a "bad behavior," but then let another employee slide for the exact same behavior. Managers sleep with staff and then give unfair treatment to their romantic partners. They even go so far as to reward and promote the staff with whom they're having these affairs. On top of all that, they aren't very good at the operations aspect of the business either. They consistently have problems with properly allocating resources, facilitating workflows, and driving the business to success. In this particular assignment, it's a mystery to me why and how the client company keeps Randstad around.
