Cons
I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience in the hope that it brings attention to serious internal issues. The culture within the Canberra office has become increasingly toxic, with no real accountability from leadership. Concerns raised to management are consistently ignored or brushed under the rug, and it’s clear that HR is unaware of the full extent of what’s happening on the ground—largely because certain managers are actively hiding the root causes. There are still individuals within the team who are openly disrespectful, unsupportive, and more focused on pulling others down than fostering collaboration. This behavior has gone unchecked for far too long. Over the past year alone, more than 50% of the team has left, yet no one in leadership seems willing to address or even acknowledge the problem. This level of attrition is a major red flag. There are also no annual salary reviews, no internal mobility opportunities, and no structured support for career development. Employees are left feeling stagnant, undervalued, and burned out. I’ve personally witnessed the toll it’s taken on colleagues’ mental health. The top management in Canberra urgently needs a reset. There is no leading by example, no effort to build a healthy or empowering environment. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against joining this office—you’d likely be wasting your time, energy, and well-being.
