Pros

Reasonable pay, hybrid home-working option.

Cons

Appalling attitude from most levels of management. Timesheet restrictions and productivity expectations for overworked departments are regularly tightened beyond reasonable levels while managers pretend nothing has changed, and some of them are often heard openly complaining about how useless their employees are. Concerns over mass layoffs and 'relocations' to cut costs are waved off with corporate euphemisms. A high-ranking HR member had to be asked by staff to try and show a little empathy in their emails about 'rightsizing', and the CEO basically told employees to get over it when they pointed out the irony of him claiming to be people-focused a couple of weeks after decimating an entire division of the company. They did send people branded hats though, so that's nice.

Pros

Excellent place to gain hands-on experience with AI/ML training data workflows. The project guidelines are very clear and structured.

Cons

The work is highly repetitive and sitting for long hours requires deep focus. Deadlines are tight with strict weekly accuracy quotas.

Pros

Decent paying side job, flexible hours

Cons

Absolute nightmare to get paid. You WILL have to complain in order to get paid, and you will most likely have to complain more than once in order to get the answer you need. I still haven't been paid for work done months ago! Everyone that reads this with a similar issue needs to do what I did and bring it to the attention of the state labor boards.
