Pros

This company is out to improve an outdated industry. Being a part of that feels great. There is plenty to do, some great perks, and the pay feels fair and the recruiter wasn't kidding when he said "there will be plenty of over time". There are a few good perks like company provided lunches on Friday.

Cons

Employees beware: there is no warning nor strike system. No chance for improvement. No second chances. You sit at your desk one morning thinking you are killing it, and then you're home before lunch trying to explaining to your loved ones why you're home so early when you yourself don't know why "it wasn't working out". The gamble here is that you know have a 2-4 month gap in employment. Do you put that on your resume for the next employer to see you got fired within a few months? What do you say to that employer when they ask you why you were fired when you yourself don't know? A previous review mentions having to be on-call. The trainers never specifically mention that you must be on call 24/7, but you will get co-workers calling you while you are off the clock with problems/issues. Do you clock back in to solve the problem? Do you bug your supervisor for permission to clock in more overtime? What if you are no where near a computer and are unable to solve the problem (again, the term "on-call" was never used to the best of my recollection)? Also, while communication is in general a good thing, it felt like we spent more time talking about work in mandatory meetings than actually doing the work. The meeting-to-work balance needs to be addressed.

Pros

The company’s overall goal was great - saving money for consumer and keeping all your home needs under one umbrella to simplify the process.

Cons

Focused too much on lending and insurance opportunities instead of focusing on consumer.
