They get it. The pandemic has changed work for ever and I'm pleased to work at a 'micro-multinational' where the People Team (aka HR) get it. We've worked amazingly through the pandemic with the barriers of timezones and location broken down by MS Teams and a flexible attitude. Working from the UK I can talk to Hong Kong and San Fran in the same day while having time to enjoy family meals and read bedtime stories. My team has proven reliable and trustworthy without needing to be within my sight. The output speaks for itself. From an engineering perspective, there are interesting challenges ahead as we leverage our head start in the cloud. There are some brilliant minds here.
