      Pros

      QA overall a nice place to work, with good clients and technical folk who know theyre stuff. Some good leadership like Jo Bishenden.

      Cons

      Very outdated systems. Company has really struggled in a tough market, customers are just spending less than they used to on staff training. QA makes all the right noises about digital learning, its still at its core a company that sells courses. Very profit-focussed and limited money for investment as interest rates have squeezed the private equity owners.

      The skills platform developed by the former Cloud Academy team was innovative and well-received by customers.

      Cons

      Since my voluntary departure, the company has proven to be unreliable and somewhat cagey. Under the terms of their articles of association and ISD, they had 12 months to repurchase my preferred shares. Nearly 18 months have passed, and they refuse to repurchase my shares or communicate any reasons for the delay. One might conclude that they are dealing with financial difficulties.
