Pros
Providence's mission is inspiring. They are making real impact, helping people in need. There are a lot of good people at Providence for the right reasons.
Cons
Executive leadership team is ludicrously incapable. Bloated egos. No accountability. Zero emotional intelligence . They treat staff like checkers on a game board. You're either a king (them) or a generic pawn that can be moved around at their whim, regardless of an employee's talents or interests. They say this is a learning organization, but it's a ruse. They sit in metrics reviews, retrospectives and RCA's looking for someone to blame. Bullying, browbeating, berating. Huge turnover. It's too bad because it's a well funded innovation team with some great, smart people and a lot of support from above. And you can't beat the company's mission.
