Disorganized chaos - Anonymous employee Protectas SA Employee Review

No pros. The company is a shambles. My review if about multiple data center sites in the Zurich (CH) area and different Protectas' clients.

Shift patterns all over the place not uncommon 12/14 hour shifts, heavy administration, supervisors have no idea what they are doing, higher management are simply yes-man trampling all over their employees in order to retain their clients. Employees are not protected by the firm, and replaced in a heart beat. Conditions of contract are a slap in the face and management takes advantage of a workforce that have limited linguistic skills (the majority do not speak swiss german / german and their english is stretched to a very low B1). There is a genuine fear of losing their jobs if they speak up and understandably so as there have been many cases of management retaliation against their employees. Very bad atmosphere throughout. Finally the training provided is of a shockingly low level, if Protectas' clients knew the ins and outs they would probably fine the company for misleading them into thinking they are paying for a service that in reality they will never get. Lastly, DO NOT leave Protectas before your probation period unless you want to lose a huge chunk of your salary, as you will be liaible to pay the days spent in training which can vary between 5 to 10 days.
