Pros

Good time off policy and good benefits

Cons

PMI touts its commitment to DEI, but in practice, toxic and unethical managers are allowed to continue without accountability, undermining the company’s stated values. Senior leaders in the Market Research team function demonstrate unprofessional, unethical, and toxic behavior that lowers morale. During the 2024 election period, political comments were made in the company Teams channel, openly disregarding company policy. This created discomfort among employees and demonstrated a lack of professionalism. A YouTube channel featuring political content inappropriate for the workplace, contributing to an uncomfortable environment has also been shared. Culturally insensitive and offensive remarks have been made in group settings. These behaviors are documented in Teams conversations, so the organization could easily verify them. These behaviors have brought down morale across the entire Market Research team, creating discomfort, fear of retaliation, and contributing to talented team members leaving. Communication is loud, interrupting, and know-it-all. Leadership, including HR, promotes a “manager is always right” culture, allowing toxic behavior to continue unchecked. Management should ensure leaders are honest, accountable, and uphold professionalism. It’s discouraging that individuals with this behavior remain in a leadership roles or employed at all.

Pros

Great company, great leadership, very clear strategy and a very passionate community.

Cons

Not many cons, maybe disorganized sometimes. Too many internal meetings.

Pros

Remote work, but that is really it.

Cons

Compensation used to be competitive, but workload, expectations and initiatives have increased, Everyone is being asked to do more, and work harder with the same resources with no consideration for fair pay. Senior leaders are well aware of how they are perceived, but choose to do nothing, or simply say they are working on fixing things, with no tangible efforts seen. Our CEO is running the reputation, culture, and company into the ground for the sake of revenue. Him and his executive team are known bullies, and even though this has been complained about by so many of us, even to HR, nothing is ever done about it. We NEED board intervention. Just take a look at PMI's ratings. Even with the reviews obviously crafted and directed by internal leaders to try and suppress negative reviews. I will also add that career growth is non-existent, and the determined best fix for these concerns was training telling employees its their problem to figure out. Really makes us feel valued.
