Pros

At least in my business unit, I feel the leadership really cares about their employees. Work life balance is very reasonable. Compared to other health care consulting firms I've worked for, Premier really is the best in this regard. Many colleagues of mine have been with the company for over 10 years. Impressive retention rate and very healthy culture. I love many colleagues around me. Premier tends to hire very experienced people from whom younger people can learn a lot. I also feel that my colleagues are willing to share their concerns or criticism with the managers in a transparent manner, and the managers are very open to these suggestions. This level of trust and openness is rare to find in big corporations. Premier is a leader in the industry. The name itself help its employees a lot in their career development. Premier also has collaborations with numerous reputable health care organizations and corporations. The experience I gain at Premier is truly invaluable. As a mature, established organization, Premier has tons of resources for its employees to use.

Cons

In some cases, efficiency could be improved. Career path for each individual could be described more clearly.

Pros

The atmosphere is great!! Flexible schedules and not micromanaged. An amazing entry level data analysis training program.

Cons

Pay is low for job and switched from full remote to hybrid. Not too much room for job growth.

Pros

Really the best thing at Premier was the work force. Everyone is willing to teach and work collaboratively

Cons

The C Suite looks at numbers on a spreadsheet rather than employee longevity and contributions. Has had a RIF every year for the last 4 years, resulting in the elimination of very long term employees who contribute greatly to the company vision. Also, the chance for education and career growth is limited to certain roles only
