Pros
It really is the people that make Premier great. I have been with the company now for 6+ years, in two different divisions, and everyone I have worked with has been intelligent, hardworking, and kind. They are flexible to manage your work life priorities, they do make efforts to show their employees that they are valued, and I trust them to be an ethical company. They appear to be a growing, progressive thinking, and cutting edge company in their field an truly do seem to care about the health of the communities they serve (as is part of the mission statement).
Cons
Lack of uniformity. Yes they are a GPO, Informatics data, and Consulting company but the lack of uniformity also exists within those three areas. Employees are not trained well to be aware what another group within the same division is doing so work can be duplicated and without standardization. They are making efforts to fixing this but it seems they are moving slow. Also, I'm unsure how competitive their salaries are but ... what employee truly thinks they are being paid enough?
