Pros

None if you are looking for long-term employment. All our jobs are slowly being shipped overseas to India or Puerto Rico.

Cons

They revised our pension so it doesn't accrue the same and new employees only get lump sums (pitiful ones). Our health plan is not what it used to be and our copays go up constantly and they cover less every year. P&W has partnered with a company in Puerto Rico and with the way they are sending jobs there, it appears as though the plan is to slowly move all the work there....after we train them, of course. A company run by non-Americans that doesn't care about the U.S. Corporate greed at it's best!

Pros

Decent pay and good benefits.

Cons

Personnel reporting to me had apparently looked up my political affiliation (which I had never mentioned) and took exception to it by sabotaging work that I had supervised. This was well before 2022 - actually 2015-2016 (2022 is earliest review date I could select). I was just now remembering it. This polarized political posture was a function of the plant being near Harrisburg, PA which, at least then, was a somewhat "redneckish" area. I have never discussed my politics at work, so it seemed absurd of them to look up my party affiliation and take issue with it.
