Pros

I was fortunate to have some incredible co-workers in my department who have since remained close friends even after all of us left the company.

Cons

Where do I start? Salary: If you enter Payoneer at an Operations level, do not expect to ever be compensated fairly even if promoted to a non-Ops level. I worked and excelled in Operations for 5 years and was promoted within multiple times (though my salary never went about $57K USD). Eventually I applied for a non-Ops position in the hopes that I would finally be able to make some real money. I was offered the position but the salary offered to me was insulting, and I told them so. I cited my 5 years of excellence within the company and my knowledge of their products making me more qualified for the job than any outside hire, who would demand likely 6 figures for the same role. I wasn't even asking for that much, only for them to bump the offer up a little so I could get to at least $70K (for a role that, again, would get an outside hire $100K) and was met with a flat refusal. At that point I realized I wasted 5 years of my life at Payoneer and should have left much sooner. I found a much better job elsewhere and wish I did it sooner. Work culture: Diversity and inclusion theater from top to bottom. In my time there the only time I saw someone who wasn't white it was because they were either working in Ops or IT. Once during Pride Month, a long-tenured employee made a very public declaration to a handful of people in the lunchroom that he took issue with the celebration (I won't go into details). I called him out for the ignorant statement and reported him to HR. I was then pulled into a meeting with HR to discuss how MY reaction was flawed. I was also told the employee would be "emailing" me an apology despite the fact that we worked in the same office. Still waiting for that email.
