Pros
Not only getting good prices on Patagonia products/merchandise, but also offered a wide array of amazing pro deals on other industry related products. Loved the beer Fridays that happened the first few years of employment and parties/events until they began to be heavily controlled and limited because of abuse and the company expanding.
Cons
Company is facing severe growing pains. Used to be a small, tight knit, family company and now it's becoming more corporate everyday since the original owner stepped down from being the CEO. The "glass ceiling" is lowering to the point of suffocation. Management positions that should be given to those who've spent 10+ years giving their heart and soul to the company are left in shock, mouths wide open, when a manager outside the company (with little to no real management training) steps in and takes over the roles that people inside the company would have quite literally died for. Corporate management does not supply the adequate training or resources for the employees that they tout to love and respect, to advance in their career, but rather take the cheaper and easier route of hiring outside of the company.
