Pros

There are some really great colleagues and progressive mission

Cons

The CEO is intent on forcing everyone back in to the office calling it an experiment, but he doesn't give employees any way to provide feedback. At a recent town hall he doubled down on in person work without any evidence while dozens of employees catch Covid each week. Patagonia is run as a family business with a trusted inner circle that doesn't believe they have any need to learn or evolve to modern times. A recently launched mentorship program is a good example. Only handpicked employees with decades of Patagonia experience are allowed to be mentors with the express purpose of indoctrinating newer employees with their idea of what Patagonia's culture should be.
