Pros
Good for obtaining experience. Nice health insurance.
Cons
I cannot echo another reviewers comments enough. Copied and pasted below: No good systems training provided for study specific duties. Promotions for less qualified candidates because they are paid less with less experience versus promotion for qualified internal candidates. SOPs are not well organized. A lot of the studies are not monitored thoroughly due to lack of experience/training for CRO staff. Not able to work from home as advertised per job posting. Points to reiterate: -Training does not properly prepare employees to complete assigned tasks proficiently. Not all employees understand what their assigned tasks even are. This is not specific to one position, but is systemic. -The CMA position is NOT a remote position, as advertised. Do not take this into account when considering your next career move. It is unfortunate and disappointing that the position is presented in a false light. -Management does NOT reward dedication, extra hours, or going above and beyond to assist study teams. Management is NOT loyal to their employees. -Employee turnover is excessive, and is not on par with other companies. Employee happiness and sense of well-being is low. -The CRA/CMA collaboration currently in place is NOT effective.
