Pros
Work life balance/ Vacation time, benefits good, salary good.
Cons
Highly political and inefficient. Managers who have been here for 7+ years don't really seem to care much. People stay in their current roles or get promoted because of their political connections and friends. You can be a terrible manager/director but will eventually be promoted or stay at their level because of who they are friends with or because they'e been here for a while. Morale is low. It makes total sense why companies like Google are dominating the market as there is a complete lack of technological innovation and antiquated processes. Processes are slow, people reluctant to change. Directors/ VPs out of touch with what occurs on a day to day basis. Very traditional hierarchy with minimal transparency and accountability.
