      Dangerous site with no management support - Healthcare Security Officer Paladin Security Group Employee Review

      Pros

      A lot of overtime security team (excluding management) usually sticks together Clinical staff were more than amazing and supportive will be promoted to shift supervisor fast because of understaffing Great experience for policing at certain sites

      Cons

      No management support Extremely poor pay compared to the level of danger on site (literally dealt with people on a daily basis multiple times with knives, shanks, bear sprays etc and occasional fake guns) Maximal level of unnecessary politics and diplomacy Toxic work environment Due to the diplomacy, we weren't even given proper safety equipment. Not even a pair of handcuffs (VPD officers have told us that we need handcuffs in this site) Favoritism being played more often than not Always understaffed

      Decent pay, hours, and benefits for full time employees

      Cons

      They hold onto crappy employees, they'll lie straight to your face and manipulate you and the clients they have contracts with, communication is subpar.
