Pros
Very exciting to be a part of a big company like Nutrien. I really do like the benefits that are offered at Nutrien. I feel very compensated and rewarded for what I do with the company. At Allan we have such a family atmosphere and culture. Very fun and comfortable place to work. I have made so many friendships over the years I have been here. I really like seeing the opportunities Nutrien is offering for growth within the company. There seems to be new positions created all the time which is creating all kinds of opportunities for some.
Cons
With such a big company and so many people sometime the communication isn't the greatest. Sometimes you really notice the difference between corporate and site levels. There can be a very big disconnect. I have really noticed the disconnect from our payroll, HR and other departments moving to a more central location. I understand that it makes more sense because of the size of the company to have departments centralized. It was just difficult transition from the way we were used things being at the site level.
