      Pros

      As one of the most important startups in Latin America, Nubank offers many challenges for those who want to defy the status quo and truly innovate in different areas. We have a very informal workplace in which we feel free to be ourselves and bring our best without the need to put on a work persona. It's also very fulfilling to be able to work alongside so many talented people that come from different backgrounds and bring diverse perspectives to the challenges we face.

      Cons

      As a fast-growing company, sometimes Nubank struggles as we double sizes every year, but at the same time we see a constant effort in trying to improve processes, communication and make everyone involved.

      Pros

      Lots of exciting bets being made, many growth opportunities, very smart people who also know how to have work life balance

      Cons

      Priorities shift a lot which can be frustrating, but that's part of the game of fintech (very fast moving)

      High level of competence of colleagues You're never the most experienced or highest skilled person in your team Constantly learning and career growing Freedom to explore new technologies Very data-oriented Very technical oriented managers Clojure shop Well-tested, well crafted, always improving code solutions

      Executive level decisions sometimes are big-bang and not gradual Promotion strategy isn't based on performance but on the existence of an open role
