Pros

Friendly environment. Coworkers are like family, sometimes it doesn't feel like working. Very flexible with hours and time-off.

Cons

Hours being cut due to over-hiring. Extremely unnecessary customer satisfaction requirements (even the customers think the questions we are required to ask get really annoying) Mystery shoppers are completely unfair. (Come in during the busiest hours, and blame us for bad service?) Customers can be extremely rude over cake.

Pros

It was okay in the beginning

Cons

Basically I got fired from Nothing Bundt Cakes, but the way they handled it is what really upset me. The day before, they were acting normal and even told me “see you tomorrow.” Then I came in for my shift the next day ready to work and they told me not to clock in and to call the manager. She fired me over the phone and kept repeating over and over that I “wasn’t the right fit” and that I “didn’t fit in,” but wouldn’t actually explain what that meant when I asked for a reason. Then she told me they had already decided the day before that Tuesday was going to be my last day, but nobody communicated that to me. So I basically showed up to work not even knowing I was already fired. Even when I returned my stuff and got my check, she still wouldn’t really say anything or give me a clear explanation. It just felt really unprofessional, confusing, and honestly hurtful.
