Pros

-The only good thing about the bakery is that the co-workers are really nice. -Life is good here if you are a GSR. Least amount of work with the same pay as the frosters and dishwasher. -If you are okay working less than 20 hours for minimum wage, go for it.

Cons

-They pay minimum wage to the front and the back. The work in the back is so much more tedious. They should know the difference. -When no one is hiring, they are! The people who work hard don't get enough hours, while they keep hiring replacements. Hence, everybody gets less hours. -They don't communicate well about any concerns they have with you. And one day, you will stop getting scheduled or your hours will be cut. -No matter how hard you work it is not enough! They will find excuses as a reason to not give you more hours. -There are few who work more than the rest and you will not be recognized for it. -They only give 10% employee discount while other places offer free food or half price. And their cakes are so expensive.

Pros

It was okay in the beginning

Cons

Basically I got fired from Nothing Bundt Cakes, but the way they handled it is what really upset me. The day before, they were acting normal and even told me “see you tomorrow.” Then I came in for my shift the next day ready to work and they told me not to clock in and to call the manager. She fired me over the phone and kept repeating over and over that I “wasn’t the right fit” and that I “didn’t fit in,” but wouldn’t actually explain what that meant when I asked for a reason. Then she told me they had already decided the day before that Tuesday was going to be my last day, but nobody communicated that to me. So I basically showed up to work not even knowing I was already fired. Even when I returned my stuff and got my check, she still wouldn’t really say anything or give me a clear explanation. It just felt really unprofessional, confusing, and honestly hurtful.
